From Brecon to Folkestone, Aberdeen to Birmingham, people from all walks of life across the country shared the love for refugees as part of our #FairBeginsHere Valentine’s Day action. They filled their towns, schools and social media feeds with welcoming cards and orange hearts – the symbol for refugee solidarity – and joined the call for a fair new plan for refugees.
From community and refugee support groups to faith institutions and schools, trade union groups and football clubs, Together With Refugees coalition members really stepped up to show the love for refugees in their communities with a fantastic range of activities this Valentine’s Day.
